I tried connecting it to my PC so that i could get a wireless set up at my home but to no avail as my Tikona connection requires username and password in the browser window, it means we can not just directly put it in the WAN port of our Router and start surfing as it can be done in other connections like Broadband,Lease line, etc..
In the morning I woke up at 3:30 and started trying connecting it to my router!!
Then within 20 min. i have found a way of connecing it to my router and the steps are below:
1.Configure your Belkin/Another router in the DHCP (you do not have to specifiy IP address and other information manually, your router configures it automatically ) mode by
-Going to ur router's homepage (generally 192.168.x.x)
-Checking LAN and WAN configuration to be DHCP.
2.Setting your computer's LAN and WiFi connection to DHCP mode by going to Networking and Sharing Centre in Windows7
4.Inserting your NanoStation2 ethernet cable in one of the LAN ports in the router and your computer's cable in another LAN port of the router and then bridge the connection and simply start surfing and it would work.
5.You can skip connectiing your computer's ethernet cable in the LAN port of the router by simply connecting and configuring your computer connection wirelessly by going to your router's homepage.
This can save upto Rs.100 per month because Tikona provides the same service or rather to say WiFi services at certain extra cost to be given monthly.
